In episode 10 or the the fifth season of The Big Bang Theory, Sheldon mentions a weird factoid to his neighbor Penny: In the year 2000, Pope John Paul II was named an Honorary Harlem Globetrotter. He was presented with an autographed basketball and his own named and numbered jersey, No. 75, and posed for photographs.
